Claire has been a matchmaker with Friend of a Friend Matchmaking since 2016. She started out working specifically with the LGBTQ+ community in the Greater Toronto Area, expanding to also serve both the straight and LGBTQ+ populations in Hamilton, before purchasing the company and serving all daters in Toronto, Hamilton, and beyond.

Her work is informed by an intersectional approach to dating, leaving assumptions aside, and moving beyond the confines favoured by dating apps and online dating. Her work in coaching, online dating support, and matchmaking is open-ended and client-centered, providing an opportunity for questioning and self-discovery, and serving as a sounding board for questions not only about dating, but about the self.
